48" x 36" (4 panels 24" x 18")
Pen & Ink/Watercolour (gallery-wrapped, wax medium finish coat)
This piece was done for a show at Salmon Arm Art Gallery, the show theme dealt with the decline of the songbird population. I tried to show the devastating effects of logging on the animal denizens, primarily focusing on the birds (left corner). There are also "hidden" animals to be found in the art work. I wanted to have some colour to show the positive side also - that some animals can and will adapt to their changing habitat.
