I am exploring a new technique for finishing off my Artwork. These paintings are rendered as usual starting with a flat piece of watercolour paper...the difference comes when I am finished! I mold the paper around an unpainted canvas that has a wooden frame behind it, it is the adhered to the canvas frame and then I put 2 coats of a clear, matte (not glossy) acrylic medium over top to protect and finish the artwork. Now the art work is "wrapped" around and the edges also have part of the painting on them. No frame is needed, nor glass or a matt! A frame could still be used if preferred, but then you would not see the edges anymore. Please enjoy!
